We hear a phrase often from MOFB President Garrett Hawkins, and that is "think big, do good." Building from that phrase, we launched a new podcast and video series featuring folks who have dreamed big and made an impact within the agriculture industry.

2024 Missouri Farmers Care Farm Team Video Series

In partnership with Missouri Farmers Care and other statewide commodity groups, I led the planning, scripting, filming and editing of five videos featuring the MFC "Farm Team." These :60 second spots will air in Busch Stadium at every home game during the 2024 season, encouraging baseball fans to get to know the farm team that feeds and fuels their families.

This is just one example of the videos created for this series. These were also shared across social media platforms.
2024 Farm Dog of the Year

Who doesn't love a good ol' farm dog? I had the opportunity to create this feature video for the 2024 MOFB Farm Dog, Cole. This video was shared during the MOFB Annual Meeting, across social media platforms, and via QR code in the Show Me Magazine, the quarterly publication of the Missouri Farm Bureau.
2023 Annual Meeting Opening Video

This video was one of my first projects with Missouri Farm Bureau. The theme for the 2023 Missouri Farm Bureau Annual Meeting was "Guided by Tradition." After hearing this, I knew I wanted to capture MOFB members and their families to show where the organization has come, and where it continues to grow, all while showcasing member farmers and ranchers in their everyday lives. The kiddos were an added cuteness, but displayed the passion we all have for leaving something for the next generation.
2023 LMA Convention Opening Video

For the 2023 LMA Convention, I was tasked with the job of creating a "hype" video to play at the opening of the convention kick-off session. After stumbling upon this song on a Spotify "For You" page, I knew I wanted to use it to help highlight the hands and work of those who play key roles in our industry.

What makes this one so special? Several of the clips were filmed on my family's operation, featuring my dad, brother and Duke, our Australian Shepard.

Every year at the WLAC Awards Banquet, the World Livestock Auctioneer Champion gets a special feature video to play prior to the crowning of the new, auctioneer champion. I filmed this one in Dunlap, IA, at the barn Will shares ownership in. Enjoy!
We Are LMA

In 2022, I started a social campaign called We Are LMA, to help highlight the values of LMA members. The goal was to help bring brand recognition to the LMA logo, with ties to the values and character of LMA members. This is one of three videos I was able to complete for that social campaign. Other We Are LMA interview clips were used for a commercial in the 2022 World Livestock Auctioneer Championship TV Show.
APLUS Act Q&A

LMA has worked, and continues to work, to try and increase competition in the livestock sector. Support of the APLUS Act was something LMA members pushed for. After hearing that people wanted to know more about the act, I sat down with LMA President Mark Barnett, and created this piece.
While it's not a "true video", this format was the easiest way to distribute to membership.

Part of my role with LMA is to assist in planning, scripting and filming of the World Livestock Auctioneer Championship TV Shows. In partnership with Grant Company, we scripted, filmed and edited the hour-long shows, which aired on RFD-TV. Neilson ratings show that nearly 100,000 families tuned in to the premiere of this specific show.

Farm for Life Series

During my summer internship with the Missouri Department of Agriculture (MDA), I traveled with the communications team and interviewed farmers and ranchers across the state. The Farm for Life series highlighted their passions, experiences, and insight into their small role in Missouri agriculture. My specific tasks included identifying subjects, gathering b-roll, setting up for interviews and snapping photos. Some videos were then aired in the Agriculture Building at the Missouri State Fair and on social media.
